Join watercolor artist Lisa Brancatisano for the Creatives Retreat. Lisa, who runs the popular This Tuscan Life blog, has lived in Florence for almost two decades. She hosts artists’ retreats throughout Tuscany, and in 2026 she’s bringing her workshops to La Fortezza. Attendees of the Creatives Retreat will enjoy watercolor sessions set among La Fortezza’s picturesque surroundings, in addition to cooking classes, wine tasting, and local excursions. This retreat welcomes artists of all skill levels, from beginners to experienced painters.
Guests will enjoy poolside yoga each morning, one watercolor workshop with Lisa each day, a wine tasting featuring La Fortezza’s exclusive house wines made with grapes grown in on the on-site vineyard, and cooking classes and flower foraging and arranging with Annette.
Retreat guests will have the opportunity to purchase handmade merchandise inspired by Lisa’s gorgeous watercolor paintings, in addition to taking home three of their own paintings to remember their time at La Fortezza.
